Buyer FAQ

The questions we get every week

Short, honest answers on MOQ, lead time, finishes, fit-out planning, testing and shipping. If yours isn't here, the floating button or the contact form reaches the same project desk.

It depends on the system. For an in-catalogue workstation or storage line we usually start around a mixed 20-foot container; for a developed executive range or a full custom fit-out it is a 40HQ that makes the setup worthwhile. Send your floor area or desk count and we will say plainly whether it works.

Yes — that is the core of what KANO does. Give us a floor plan and headcount and we lay out open-plan, executive offices, meeting and lounge zones on one component grid and one finish palette, then quote it as a single project. You can also just buy a single system if that is all you need.

Melamine for hard-working open-plan desking; real-wood veneer for director and chairman offices where the surface is part of the image; sintered stone for meeting tables that take daily coffee and laptops. We quote the options against your use and tell you where a finish is the wrong call.

Yes. We produce OEM ranges under dealers and contract brands, with your logo, manuals and master-carton artwork prepared in-house. See the OEM / ODM page for how it runs.

A repeat order in an existing spec is typically a few weeks after deposit; a developed range or a custom fit-out runs longer because of the sample-approval loop on finishes and hardware. We give you a real date per project, not a slogan.

Yes, electric height-adjustable frames are available across the system and executive lines. For shared open-plan we often suggest fixed-height to control cost and recommend sit-stand for dedicated and executive positions — but we quote whatever the brief calls for.

We build and bench-test to the relevant BIFMA or EN pattern and arrange third-party reports (for example SGS or TÜV) tied to your actual order. We do not issue blanket "certified" claims that are not matched to your build, because those do not hold up at customs.

System furniture cubes efficiently knocked-down. We will tell you how a given layout packs into a 40HQ and label cartons so the container unloads in install order rather than as a puzzle on site.

Yes, and it is the point of the range. The systems share a component grid and finish library, so you can fill a container across an open-plan programme, the executive floor and the meeting rooms while keeping one supplier, one document set and one finish standard.

The group holds over 500 patents and national High-tech and Intellectual Property Advantaged Enterprise recognition, and we describe our work as design-led. Where specific international design awards are referenced for a product, we will point you to that exact product and year rather than make a blanket claim.

Our export work to date has focused on the Gulf, South and Southeast Asia and Mongolia, and we are open to new markets. Tell us your port and project and we will confirm terms.

Send the plan — we'll quote the real thing

A floor plan, a desk count or a few reference images is enough to start. If a brief sits outside what we build well, we'll say so rather than spend your time on a sample that misses.
